Shivhan Dohse visits the Flute Studio

The Flute Studio at OSU welcomed Shivhan Dohse to Stillwater this past Monday! We were so happy to have Shivhan on campus as she presented a masterclass, workshop, and Miyazawa Flutes/Sankyo Flutes display.

Senior Music Performance Majors Noelle Campen and Carly Prince performed orchestral excerpts and Mozart Concerti in preparation for their upcoming graduate school auditions. Laura Wirth, Senior Music Education Major, perfomed Ian Clarke's extended technique showpiece The Great Train Race. Shivhan had so many helpful and unique tips on many topics including practicing, breathing, and stage presence! We had so much fun trialing beautiful flutes from Miyazawa, Sankyo, and Trevor James and we loved hearing about Shivhan's experiences as a music business professional. Thank you for coming to visit us, Shivhan!
